About the Role
Pure Barre Glastonbury is looking for confident, energetic people who love fitness and helping others. You'll lead classes of up to 25 clients, keep the energy up from start to finish, and build relationships that keep people coming back. Lead safe, enthusiastic classes that follow the Pure Barre technique and keep your clients moving.
You don't need to know Pure Barre before you apply. A background in dance, fitness or cheer helps, but it isn't required. We'll train you. What you do need is a good sense of rhythm, a strong stage presence and a real wish to make every client feel welcome.
What You'll Do
- Teach at least 4 classes per week. Classes run early mornings, midday, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Prepare for every class by studying the choreography and building your class plan.
- Learn new choreography each quarter as the program changes.
- Demonstrate a few reps of each position with a strong mind-body connection, including, but not limited to, hand weights and full-body pushups, while keeping the energy high for all 50 minutes.
- Take class each week. We encourage our teachers to stay connected to the technique and the community as clients, and your free unlimited membership makes it easy.
- Get to know your clients and give them great customer service.
- Help keep the studio clean and welcoming.
What We're Looking For
- 18 or older
- An enthusiastic, confident and outgoing personality
- A passion for fitness, wellness and helping others
- Musicality: you can keep rhythm and count to the beat
- The confidence to lead a room of up to 25 people
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- CPR/AED certification (required)
- Dance, fitness, cheer or barre experience is a plus but not required
Training & Certification
New instructors fulfill a 100-hour certification process across 30 days, blending live Zoom or studio workshops alongside independent coursework. Every phase is coached by a Master Teacher Trainer alongside our Lead Teacher. We request at least a one-year teaching agreement prior to beginning your instruction.
Pay & Perks
- Pay starts at $25 per class and moves quickly to $30 per class.
- As you build your training and class count, you can earn $40+ per class.
